An Excerpt | Superstar

While looking through the telescope and talking about the stars, the vastness of the universe, and the galaxies, he gave her a comforting smile and said,

“You are but one speck of dust in the entire galaxy, and yet He deems you precious. Isn’t that enough to secure you?”

Life’s irony hit her in a good way. She felt mightier and stronger the moment she realized how small she was as compared to the entire universe. She felt more secure as a tiny peck of dust than when she was everybody’s superstar.

In nothingness, she found everything her heart had always desired — a love that loves her no matter what; a love that she can only find in the God Most High.

This was a scene from a story I was trying to write. I’m no superstar (hehe) but like the girl in this story, I am overwhelmed with the kind of love God showers to the “dust” that I am. 💛
